Those of you who have known me for a while might remember that this is the time of year that I kind of disappear from deviantArt. Work takes over and rules my life until the fall. I try to take photos when I have the chance, but rarely do I have the time to post much or go through friends’ submissions in any detail. I miss being here.

As for going to the dogs, two dogs have decided to adopt us and allow us to be their caregivers. You will meet them in the next few days. The first, Beauregard (a Boston terrier mix), found us on a day when we were already supposed to be working but a snowstorm had kept us at home. He was dumped on the road that we live on, asked me for a tummy rub and is now on a big adventure. The second, Sammy, is a Corgi from the litter that Simone’s folks had. He would run to her often and eventually stole her heart. Beau really needed a little brother since the cats didn’t understand how to play with him.
